destiny watches me
it looks over me, between the clouds where god probably lives
and it plots the maze for me.
it tightens my stomach when people starts flickering red
and punches it when a beacon walk in.
it takes away the thing i want most
in exchange for the realisation i never needed it.
it shows the same lessons till i learn them,
and awakens me to the gifts that been around all along.
each wall and each corridor has a purpose-
i’ve tried to break those walls sometimes,
desperate to finally arrive at wholeness,
later recognising the destination disappears if the walls aren’t there.
theres no destiny without the journey.
the journey that shapes me into the person
that can eat the fruit i’ve grown.
everything thats right is right,
and everything thats wrong is also right.
everything happens as its meant to happen,
but none of it happens if you don’t allow it to.
